Real Valladolid has announced that David Torres has signed a contract extension through June 30, 2030. The four-year deal cements the 23-year-old as a cornerstone of the club’s future and puts him on track to become a “one-club man.” Born in Valladolid and son of club legend Javier Torres Gómez, Torres has emerged as an indispensable figure this season. He leads the team in minutes played, with 3,057 minutes across 36 appearances, 34 of which were starts—a testament to his consistent and reliable performances.
Torres made his debut in November 2022 during a Copa del Rey match and has since risen steadily to become a first-team regular. To date, he has played 92 matches for the club, 79 as a starter, demonstrating both commitment and a deep identification with the Blanquivioleta cause.

Real Valladolid also confirmed that Lachuer and Michelin will remain with the squad for the 2026-27 season, while Ángel Carvajal enjoyed a dream debut for the team. Torres’ renewal sends a clear message of the club’s support for homegrown and local talent. He began his youth career at the Real Valladolid school, spent time at Parquesol, and officially joined the club’s youth structure in 2015 as a first-year infant.
